BREWERY SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are seeking sales representatives for state markets: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts. Positions will be filled throughout the first quarter of 2019.

The Brewery Sales Representative will manage existing accounts, as well as grow our account list strategically. This position requires an entrepreneurial mind set, where self starting is a must and customer service must be second to none.
Major functions of the position include:
  • Calling on a high volume of accounts on a daily basis in the designated market area.
  • Expand account list strategically to increase both the brand’s exposure and volume of sales.
  • Manage existing accounts on a consistent basis and supply accounts with whatever they need – Quality assurance checkpoints, POS items, staff training, etc.
  • Setting up promotional events in targeted accounts and executing said events in a creative and high impact manner.
  • Improve conditions of placements for best consumer exposure – ensuring product is front facing, creating displays, etc.
  • Work hand in hand with distributors to provide support in accounts, brand knowledge, and events.
BREWERY SALES REPRESENTATIVE applicants MUST have a(n):
  • Commitment to a sales career and desire for growth in a sales organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • 1 to 3 year history of success in the brewing industry, preferably in sales.
  • Strong competitive spirit with confident personality and ability to be politely assertive.
  • Results driven attitude with a consistent sense of urgency.
  • Valid driver’s license, a registered and insured vehicle, and ability to be constantly mobile.
  • Ability to independently lift and move cases and kegs of beer.

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Lone Pine Brewing Company is seeking an individual to join our warehouse team. This individual will work in conjunction with our Brewing and Packaging teams to ensure an efficient and effective work flow.
Candidates must be capable of thriving in a busy and fast paced environment. Candidates must be physically able to perform labor intensive tasks at a safe but rapid pace while remaining detail oriented.
Major functions of the position include:
  • General Warehouse organization
  • Proper rotation of goods and materials
  • Preparing daily orders (Building/securing pallets)
  • Accepting deliveries
  • Special projects as needed

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT applicants MUST have a(n):

  • Self-motivated mindset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision at times
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs independently and repetitively
  • Background including warehouse/manufacturing work experience
  • Background including forklift experience
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to safely operate a small box truck and/or cargo van (Non-CDL)

TASTING ROOM AMBASSADOR

Lone Pine Brewing is expanding our front of house family. Our tasting room staff is the entrusted with the responsibility of providing each of our visitors with an unforgettable experience.  Our ambassadors are the caretakers of our retail spaces, welcoming in customers, and tending to the appearance and organization of our tasting room. Our ambassadors are the caretakers of our customers, ensuring a safe and informative tour experience, and acting as a lens through which our customers see the inner workings of our company. As such, they are charismatic, energetic, positive, friendly, and intimately knowledgeable with our history, culture, and processes.

Candidates must be dynamic workers, capable of thriving in a busy environment. Candidates must be excited to address/lead guests individually or in large groups (up to 30+), and able to convey a professional attitude throughout the guest experience.

TASTING ROOM AMBASSADOR applicants MUST be:

  • Experienced in relevant bar service
  • Intimately knowledgeable of craft beer and the Maine craft beer industry
  • Well educated in brewing process, beer styles, and proper serving technique
  • Certified in relevant alcohol server training or have the willingness to acquire
  • Knowledgeable of draft line operations and maintenance

  • Flexible (Schedule-wise, not yoga-wise. Nights and weekends are required)

TASTING ROOM AMBASSADOR DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Creating and maintaining a relaxed, yet exciting environment
  • Cleaning, care, and upkeep of the tasting room space
  • Product quality monitoring
  • Sharing the story and experience of Lone Pine Brewing Company
  • Maintaining the operation and cleanliness of the tasting room draft system
  • Changing Kegs
  • Product organization and inventory
  • Leading tours throughout our production spaces and discussing our processes and products
  • Accurately conveying product and company information to the customer
  • Properly representing Lone Pine Brewing by maintaining a passionate, expressive, and enthusiastic attitude

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift beer cases (30+lbs), team-lift kegs of beer (165lbs), and 50lbs worth of general materials and merchandise

DETAILS

Positions are available immediately. 18-20 hours per week. Potential access to group benefits. Must be available to work a minimum of three days in either our Portland or Gorham location. Summer hours will expand shift opportunities. Pay is DOE, tips included.

PACKAGING ASSISTANT

  • Operation of keg cleaning station in accordance with SOPs and under direction of the packaging manager.
  • Assistance, operation, and maintenance of the canning line under direction of the packaging manager.
  • Assistance, operation, and maintenance of the keg filling line under direction of the packaging manager.
  • Readying packaged product for transport.
  • Working with Packaging Manager and Operations Manager to execute packaging objectives.
  • Implementation of standard operation processes as needed under the direction of the packaging manager.
