The Director of Sales is responsible for managing a unique and motivated sales team, obtaining/maintaining key customer relationships, and delivering annual targets through a concise sales strategy/planning process. This position will also work closely with the brewery operations team to ensure efficient delivery of Lone Pine products to wholesalers. The Director of Sales will be an integral member of the Lone Pine management team and will participate in the planning, development, and execution of key brewery business objectives. The Director of Sales will report directly to the company’s co-founders.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Develop annual and multi-year sales plans in support of organization’s strategic goals and objectives. This sales plan shall include both distributor and multiple-channel selling strategies and tactics.
  • Develop strategies and brand priorities for inclusion in annual business planning meetings for both national accounts and distributor partners. Work directly with brewery partners and distributors during annual, as well as monthly, business planning meetings.
  • Routine travel to various markets and work directly with Lone Pine wholesaler teams on site.
  • Oversee and evaluate market research. Adjust Sales strategies to meet changing market & competitive conditions. Recommend unique sales strategies for improvement, based on market research and competitor analysis.
  • Lead, coach and challenge the Sales division to continually improve upon distributor support and provide accountability for meeting deadlines of tangible deliverables while ensuring customer service standards are met. 
  • Responsible for developing and managing a sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives. Identify key metrics of success relative to the performance of the sales team and ensure accountability for their performance.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients or distributors in coordination with Market Representatives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all employees under direct supervision. Complete performance reviews and create Professional Development Plans for each member of the sales team
  • In collaboration with the business owners, develop and manage annual sales and sales-related marketing budgets.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of the sales team to conform to budgetary requirements. Make any necessary adjustments to expenditures throughout the fiscal year while being sensitive to the company’s operating budget.
  • Provide support, leadership and promote accountability to all organizational policies.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the company owners.

Lone Pine Brewing is expanding our front of house family. Our tasting room staff is the entrusted with the responsibility of providing each of our visitors with an unforgettable experience.  Our ambassadors are the caretakers of our retail spaces, welcoming in customers, and tending to the appearance and organization of our tasting room. Our ambassadors are the caretakers of our customers, ensuring a safe and informative tour experience, and acting as a lens through which our customers see the inner workings of our company. As such, they are charismatic, energetic, positive, friendly, and intimately knowledgeable with our history, culture, and processes.

Candidates must be dynamic workers, capable of thriving in a busy environment. Candidates must be excited to address/lead guests individually or in large groups (up to 30+), and able to convey a professional attitude throughout the guest experience.

TASTING ROOM AMBASSADOR applicants MUST be:

BREWERY SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are seeking sales representatives for state markets: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts. Positions will be filled throughout the first quarter of 2019.

The Brewery Sales Representative will manage existing accounts, as well as grow our account list strategically. This position requires an entrepreneurial mind set, where self starting is a must and customer service must be second to none.
Major functions of the position include:
  • Calling on a high volume of accounts on a daily basis in the designated market area.
  • Expand account list strategically to increase both the brand’s exposure and volume of sales.
  • Manage existing accounts on a consistent basis and supply accounts with whatever they need – Quality assurance checkpoints, POS items, staff training, etc.
  • Setting up promotional events in targeted accounts and executing said events in a creative and high impact manner.
  • Improve conditions of placements for best consumer exposure – ensuring product is front facing, creating displays, etc.
  • Work hand in hand with distributors to provide support in accounts, brand knowledge, and events.
