Lone Pine was founded in 2016 on Anderson Street in Portland’s East Bayside neighborhood as a passion project between high school friends Tom Madden and John Paul. Since the early years Lone Pine has evolved to become one of the largest craft breweries in Maine, and in 2018 was the 4th fastest growing brewery in the country.
APPROACH. ACCESS. ADAPT.
OUR ETHOS
APPROACH: We’ve got a something-for-everyone mentality to what we put through out tanks. We may be known for our lineup of IPAs, but we’ve 150+ beers in our portfolio and know we’ve got something you’ll love.
ACCESS: With a growing distribution network across 19 states and multiple countries, we are always on the hunt for new ways to to ensure Lone Pine is available wherever you are looking for refreshment.
ADAPT: With our Portland Pilot System and our Quality Control Lab in Gorham we are routinely adapting our processes in order to avoid any unwanted surprises during the brewing process.
This is where it all started. What began as our original brewing facility on Anderson Street in Portland’s East Bayside neighborhood has evolved into our main tasting rom and small batch Pilot System for experimental brews.

Our CiCi Carbon Capture System from Earthly Labs allows us to capture and re-use CO2 created during fermentation throughout our brewing facility. Instead of evaporating into thin air.
